Nook is an all-in-one property management platform that helps owners and operators maximize rental revenue — from tenant acquisition and move-in to maintenance tracking and ongoing operations.
Project Goal
Nook’s mission is to help real estate owners and property management companies operate more efficiently and improve rental performance — while bringing clarity, accountability, and trust to a traditionally complex and fragmented industry. The challenge was to design a product and brand experience that makes property operations easy to understand at a glance, simplifies collaboration across teams, and supports better operational and financial decision-making.

A fresh and trustworthy brand identity We designed Nook’s brand identity to introduce a fresh and modern perspective to property management software—an industry often dominated by dated and overly complex tools. The visual language was intentionally clean, approachable, and professional, with a strong emphasis on clarity and consistency. The goal was to send strong trust signals to real estate companies managing high-value assets and sensitive operational and financial data.
Designing clarity for operational decision-making A central objective of the project was to help operators and decision-makers quickly understand the state of their portfolio. The main dashboard was designed to provide an immediate overview of key operational and financial indicators, such as portfolio size, leasing activity, rent performance, collection rates, and high-level profit and loss metrics. The experience was built around strong visual hierarchy and customizable filters, allowing teams to adapt views to their organizational structure and reporting needs.
Designing for modern usage For users working late or navigating data-dense and content-heavy pages, dark mode helps reduce visual fatigue and creates a calmer, more comfortable environment for reviewing metrics, dashboards, and operational details—making prolonged sessions feel more focused and easier on the eyes.
